How to Apply

St. Francis International School is Catholic school serving students in PreK thru 8th grade.

St. Francis International participates in the MSDE Blueprint for Education Preschool Grant that offers free preschool education for qualifying families beginning at 3 years of age. Contact the school office at (301) 434-2344 or office@sfismd.org to see if your family qualifies for the free preschool program.

Step 1

For families interested in the PreK program, prospective students must be at least 3 years old by September 1 to be eligible to enroll and must be fully potty trained.

For families interested in Kindergarten, prospective students must be 5 by September 1 to be eligible to enroll.

 

All K-8 students and their families are required to apply through TADS by clicking here and submitting the non-refundable $100 application fee per student.

Step 2

Submit Documents

All families must submit a copy of the student applicant's birth certificate.

 

Students applying for grades 1 - 8 MUST SUBMIT copies of the previous year and most recent report cards, standardized testing records, and IEP/504/CAP plans (if applicable).

For students applying for the preschool expansion program, contact the office directly for additional required documents.

Required forms can be submitted electronically to office@sfismd.org or can be submitted as hard copies to the school office. 

Step 3

Decision and Registration

Parents of  prospective students will be notified via email and/or receive a courtesy phone call regarding admission.

 

Complete the enrollment process by selecting the "Enrollment" tab in TADS to secure your space.
